The Goods. Wellness Teas

Hi Friends!

We’ve been through a lot. Our collective bodies and souls need nourishing and care now more than ever. Many of our resources have been depleted. We need to take time to fill our cups, both metaphorically and literally. I felt like I really needed to bring some goodness to people, and if I’m honest, I needed some of that goodness too. This is part of what inspired me to create four special wellness teas that I call “The Goods.”

The Good tea collection is made up of thoughtful blends to add to our overall well being. Let me introduce you to The Goods!

Elderberry Good - An immune boosting blend using delicious Elderberries, Echinacea and blended with other system support herbs. Fruity and herbaceous, a truly lovely tasting tea.

Golden Good - An earthy blend with notes of spice and orange. Full of super nutrients, adaptogens and anti-inflammatory properties. This teas has become my new favorite.

Dandelion Good - A detox blend using time honored cleansing herbs of Dandelion and Burdock along with liver support herbs like Milk Thistle Seed and other antioxidant herbs. A bright blend with flavors of mint and lemon.

Respiratory Good - A mild tonic for respiratory and lung support. Promoting well being with comforting flavors of Chamomile and Mint to help ease these troubled times.

WHY GOOD? When I was a very young woman, starting my deep exploration into the amazing life of plants, I had the great fortune to meet ‘Nadine.’ She was a 76 year old force of nature, a beautiful woman who lived in a tumble down cottage in the woods. She was gracious enough to invite me into her world of self sustainability for a time. She taught me a lot about plants, intuition, history, folk remedies, hard working hands and the importance of sitting still and listening. On one of our afternoons together, she was pulling jars of herbs off of her shelf and spreading them out on the rustic work table in front of me. She told me to close my eyes, breathe and listen to my body. “Where do you feel soft, hard, sore, full, strong, depleted, needful…” I closed my eyes, I took deep breaths, I raised my hands to my heart. She then asked me to be still, to choose herbs based on my knowledge of their properties as well as how my heart called. We mixed our recipes in quiet meditation. We put on the kettle, steeped our teas for several minutes and drank our brews from chipped ceramic cups. She said to me, “These blends are what I call ‘The Goods’.”

And now, so do I.

Stay safe and well my friends
